Vehicle Detail

2000 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am WS6 with T-Tops. "WS6" code is on the door sticker with matching VIN. I do have a green (not a rebuilt or salvage) Michigan title on hand. Mildly built LS1 5.7L engine and automatic transmission with 3.73 posi rear. It was built to be driven, not a race car. I only drive it on good days and sometimes to work and back which is 32 miles one way where I average 17mpg. One time I took it on a 2hr trip it averaged 23mpg with the cruise control set at 70mph for the most part of one tank of gas. I've always used premium gas as well. The engine has had an upper half build with the LS1 hot cam and matching springs. The transmission has been upgraded with a shift kit and converter along with a new heavy duty SFI approved flexplate. The rear gear has been upgraded to a 3.73 ratio with the stock posi unit. The exhaust has been changed out with full length headers, off-road y-pipe, flowmaster muffler and polished stainless intercooled dual tips. Of course the computer has been tuned to work with the upgrades as well. It sounds awesome and runs awesome. The suspension has been lowered an inch with SummitRacing lowering springs. The sway bar with polyurethane bushings is currently not mounted because of the lowering kit, but will be included in this sale. I'm personally not a big fan of the suspension being lowered, but all the ball joints, tie rod ends and wheel bearings checked out good the last time I had it in a shop. I do love the way it looks though. The car is in great shape, but not a show car. There are a few minor blemishes as stated, but zero rust. Headlights work great without issues. The driver side window regulator has been replaced recently. The A/C wasn't reconnected when the engine was done. Zero leaks, newer brakes, good tires that are about a year old. I'm just looking to get into something different. I moved to the "countryside" where I now live on a dirt road and it's hard to keep the car clean, just to add to the reasons of selling and also makes me hesitant to drive it. This is one of my four cars, so not something I drive everyday and I do keep it in a garage all the time. Definitely a dependable car for me and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it long distances. If you are a serious buyer, please do your research, ask questions, figure out your finances, or whatever you need to do beforehand so there won't be any confusion. I'm not trying to hide anything and will do whatever I can to help toward a positive sale.
