Your Bidding on a good shape 1956 Dodge D100. This is a decent old truck. It has a little rust on it. This is mostly on the tailgate and on the step sides. I think that it could be a fun truck if I had the time and money to mess with it. It has been in the family for about 28 years. The story on the motor is this- The flapper in the exhaust manifold stuck closed and on a long trip it caused 2 cylinders to come apart. When the this was being fixed there were some Hemi heads that were found and installed on the truck. The problem is that the pistons did not give clearance for the valves on the Hemi heads. So not too long after this was done it bent valves. I do have a 318 and automatic transmission that I got out of an RV that I was going to put in it but never got around to doing it. If you would like this motor to go with it we can work something out. If you know these old trucks there are not very many around, so if you fix it up to take to shows you will stand out.
