Original Complete 1957 Nash Metropolitan Barn Find Peach and White Coupe Here we have for sale an original complete one owner 1957 Nash Metropolitan barn find coupe. This is a true and geniune Nevada barn find. It's been off of the road for 20+ years and stored inside in an old barn here in Nevada. The car has been in Reno for the majority, if not all of its life. The car is straight and rust free. I do not see any rust through holes or cancer anywhere. The floors are solid. There is surface rust under the car but that's common for an all original unrestored 1957 Nash Metropolitan. I bought this Nash from the original owners son and he never did anything with it. The car is dusty and has not been cleaned. The car has not been buffed out. If you spent an hour buffing the paint, is would shine beautifuly. The car appears to be an old repaint. It has chips in the paint. The car appears to have some cracking paint on the front end where there was possibly some body work done. I do not know the history of the car with when it was painted. All of the electrical works on the Nash. The headlights, hi/low beams, turn signals front and back, horn, wipers, heater, radio and brake lights all work great. The interior of the metro is all original and untouched. The seats have the original material on them. There is still the original rubber floor mats. They are cracked and hard in places. The door panels are all complete and original. The head liner is original and has no rips in it. There is the original radio that works too. The visors are all original and same as all of the glass. There are no cracks in the glass. The side windows work properly and roll up and down. The window rubber is old and cracked. The wheels and hubcaps are original. The original bumpers are complete but the chrome is flaking in areas. The engine appears to be original and it does crank over when you turn the key. The engine appears to be complete and it has the original oil bath air cleaner. I have not tried to start the engine though, just turned the key and let the engine crank over. I have no history on the drivetrain. The brakes are all there and need to be rebuilt. The emergency brake does in fact work. The tires all hole air but are old and cracked. This is a great little old Nash that with a little work on the engine, brakes and fuel system and you could have a cool riginal car that has a ton of character. This is a true Nevada barn find that's been sitting for many years. It's not perfect whatsoever but it's in the condition that you would expect for something that has been sitting covered up for this long. The Nash is a solid car that deserves to bring back to life and enjoyed again. It would be a fun and easy project for somebody. It won't take much work to get this gem going and on the road. It's a old car that has great local history. I have a clean and clear Nevada title. I also have an original manual that was bought for the car when the Nash was purchased by the original owner here in Reno.
