This bike has never been titled. I have the original Certificate of Origin document from Honda along with the dealer pre delivery certificate (NO STATE INSPECTION REQUIRED). It has 47 original miles on it. I bought this bike from the estate of a former Honda dealer in Keyser WV. My best guess is that someone was on a test drive and had slow speed lay down as evident from some scratching on the headlight cowl and the front brake lever was broken along with the right turn signal lens. I think the dealer just sat it back in the shop since it had slight damage. At some point they removed the carburetor. The seat was missing and all the plastic was in a separate box. I found a seat for it and got a carb that I had professionally rebuilt and installed by Extreme Motor Sports in McHenry, MD. They also replaced the seals in the water pump. The bike runs great. There were small things missing that I replaced with Honda parts. I marine cleaned and sealed the gas tank using POR 15. This bike is sweet and was intended as a hobby for me to wrench on and then become a starter bike for my wife but she is content with riding on the back of mine. The NX was only sold in the US for two years. It is very unique having a four valve DOHC, liquid cooled four stroke. It is a six speed so it is suitable for short highway runs. I have read it is comfortable at 70 MPH. I have also read that it is an great adventure bike with good low end torque and it is very lightweight at 260lbs. This is a great bike for a collection or just a great everyday runner. It is not perfect with some imperfections on the plastic that I have documented in the pictures but it is pretty nice for a 27 year old bike. I have received some questions on the picture of the front fender. In the picture, there appears to be spider scratching in the mid center of the fender. That is actually a reflection of some trees in the side yard. The scratch is at the very front of the fender. Thanks
