This is a 2004 Ford F150 STX. 4.6 ltr Triton V8 engine, automatic transmission, rear-wheel drive. The truck has just over 120,000 miles on it, or less than 10,000 miles a year - low mileage! This model does not have rear seats, but does have two small, rear "suicide" doors, with some extra room behind the seats. This truck takes a minimalist approach - manual door locks and windows - but I prefer it that way, since there's no costly motors to burn out and replace. There is a CD player and Cruise Control, and the A/C blows ice cold. The heater is great too, but in sunny southern Arizona, I haven't needed it much. It's really a wonderful vehicle, much better than you might expect for an 11 year old truck. Take a look at the photos and see if you don't agree that it really looks sharp. I am the second owner of the vehicle, having bought it in April of 2009. Got a CarFax when I bought it, confirming it had never been in an accident, and it still hasn't. Title is completely clean; no salvage, no liens, no problem. The vehicle has spent its whole life in Arizona, so it's never seen snow - no rust or salt damage to worry about. The truck has treated me wonderfully - it runs great and has plenty of power. I've filled the bed with furniture, gravel, and even hooked up a trailer and towed a small car to Phoenix on I10 - never given me any problems. I replaced the starter shortly after buying the vehicle, and recently replaced an O2 sensor - other than that, it's just been basic, regularly scheduled maintenance and the truck's run great. Since this is Ebay and you may be too far out to see the truck in person, I'm trying to include photos and information on any defects - no surprises. The truck has a few imperfections which in no way detract from the overall appearance or functionality of the vehicle: tailgate is missing the plastic liner that runs around the bed of the truck (see photos); the tires will need to be replaces soon; fine scratch running from the driver's side rear wheel well to the rear bumper, and a small crack in the left taillight (see photos). Several small (2-3mm) tears in the fabric of the passenger seat (see photos). The inside of the bed has its share of scratches and dings - it's definitely a truck's truck. Again, look at the photos - it's a great looking vehicle that performs really well. Beautiful, reliable, low mileage, and just cool. This would be a perfect first vehicle for a new driver. It's easy to drive, great to look at, dead reliable, and big enough to absorb an impact if, God forbid, anything should happen. Actually, those are the reasons I love it, too. With two small kids in the house now, this truck is no longer practical for me, so I have to say goodbye, but I'd love to find it a good home.
