You are bidding on a used 2001 Porsche 911 convertible. I purchased this vehicle in November 2010 as a weekend vehicle. At that time the car had 101,950 miles. In four years, I have only added an additional 13,448 miles. Improvements include: New Alpine in-dash stereo.1/8/11Installed 2 new Hankook V4 ES H105 225/40ZR18 rear tires. 2/27/12 50,000 mile prorated and road hazard warranty.Replaced serpentine belt. 5/22/12 Recovered both front seats with new leather. 10/6/14 1-year warranty.Replaced battery. 11/13/14 The car runs and looks beautiful especially with the newly upholstered front seats. However, the following repairs will need to be addressed by the new owner:Automatic convertible top needs to be repaired. Top will still close manually. My local mechanic estimated the repair cost at approximately at $1,800 to replace one defective piston. Porsche requires you to replace all four with approximate repair cost of $3,500.Hood hydraulic pistons to keep hood open need to be replaced. Approximately $300 repair.Master key needs to be replaced immediately. Lock and trunk open functions work, but key is loose from key fob. Approximately $300 replacement. These repair costs have been accounted for in the lowered reserve and buy it now price. Deposit of $1,000 expected within 24 hours of auction close. Good luck!
