1969 Camaro Z/28 Matching Numbers This car has been completely restored, no expense spared during the restoration. Attention to detail every step of the way. From the assembly line correct AM Oval NOS Antenna to the correct four clip rally trim rings , correct vent breather tube on the rear axle, correct assembly line gas cap, all 5 correct AD wheels dated in Oct of 68, all NOS wheel well moldings...and on and on and on!Brakes:Original to the car, Master cylinder, Brake Booster, Front Calipers, rear drums, two piece front rotors, distribution block. The rotors and drums just needed to be turned.Steering:Original to the car, steering gear box, & pitman arm.Rear Axle: Original to the car BV 4.10 positraction dated 1118G1 casting date K78, 3894860NFTransmission:Muncie M21 P9R30B, Vin stamped on case.Engine:Factory installed original to the car #386 Block, #186 heads #480 dist V11116DZ dcasting date J238 Vin stamped on pad, assembly line correct and date coded to the build of this car: 4053 Holley Carb, Complete smog system, Alternator, Fan, Pulleys, Radiator, Water pump, Harmonic Balancer, NON Dripper valve covers, horns, radiator cap, horn relay, voltage regulator.Interior:New Carpet, Headliner Dash pad. The front and rear seats are original as are the door panels. They were in excellent shape. Factory N34 Wood Steering WheelBody:Floor-boards, Trunk Pan, Rockers, Firewall are all original and just needed media blasting and paint, no rust at all. Partial quarters were installed because of wheel well rust, outer wheel houses as well were replaced. A NOS tail pan was installed due to some damage there in the past. All bumpers are original to the car as is the trim around the windows. All glass is original, except the windshield and that is a date coded piece from PS glass. All emblems are assembly line correct. Rocker spears and sill plates are aftermarket. Grill is a factory grey one. All hidden vins are present and accounted for, X33 was discovered written behind the rear seat. Rust repair was limited to the wheel well lips, around the rear window and where the dash meets the firewall.Color:This car was custom ordered by the original owner and factory painted 65 chev impala evening orchid.I chose to paint the car this color because of the unique story behind it and the physical evidence that I found during the restoration.
