Clean, well maintained 1964 122S. This car spent 48 years in California and the last two years driven and garaged in N.J. The car is a daily driver classic. Car runs great and starts right up. CONDITION: The car is very pleasing to the eye and it is original. Recently rebuilt B18 motor, with a 4 speed M40 transmission. The clutch is new as well as several other items. NEW: Front and rear brakes, master brake cylinder, starter, electronic distributor, ball joints, tie rods and backing plates. The car has two carburetors, the original as well as a Dual SU carburetor. The clutch is new and the engine was rebuilt at 55k miles. Very clean mechanics on the car. INTERIOR: Interior is clean and original and is not worn for the years and no tears. All original gauges and lights work. The horn does not work, but I have the parts included with the sale to remedy. EXTERIOR: The car was painted about 6 or 7 years ago and looks good. There are two places with surface rust showing and the area is about 2 square inches. The car has a sun roof. The car is housed at Thomson Motor Sports until the auction concludes. EXTRA PARTS: The parts include shocks ($340 value), clutch master cylinder, brakes, hoses, a SU Carb, straps, bulbs etc. These come with the car. I bought the car because I loved it. The Volvo is simple, easy to maintain and in very good shape. However, in August my wife was diagnosed with cancer and while she is doing well since the operation, the bills after insurance are not.
