I have up for auction a 1971 Chevy C-10 Short Wheel Base Truck. This truck is a roller, it has NO motor or transmission. It would make a great project or shop truck. The truck seems solid, but will need some metal repair. The driver side fender is solid, but the passenger side will need patches at the bottom. The passenger inner fender will probably need replaced, however, the driver side is fixable. The hood, radiator support, and grill all seem to be solid. The hood does work good as far as raising it up and down. the doors open and shut properly and the windows roll up and down like they should. The doors will need some patches at the bottom. The floor pans need to be replaced, along with, the cab corners and rockers. The top of the cab seems to be pretty solid, however, it has some rust on the top of the windshield. The bed is pretty solid and the headboard is in really good shape. The driver side of the bed seems to be solid and straight, but the passenger is somewhat wavy. The passenger side of the bed previously had a dent it, someone removed it with a dent puller. Therefore, it has several small holes in that area. The wood inside the bed is in good shape. The wheel tubs are also in good shape. The tailgate is solid at the top but has some rust issues at the bottom. I, however, have an extra tailgate that goes with the truck that seems to be in good shape. The frame appears as if someone has sanded and painted it; it seems to be in good shape. The cab mount bushins have also been replaced. I recently took this truck in on trade, therefore I haven't had it very long. I have described the truck to the best of my ability.
