1967 Chevelle Malibu 2 dr. Hardtop. The car i'm guessing was gone over probably 15 years ago and It could use a freshening up. I purchased it with the intent of restoring it but the reality is I have to many projects and I hate to let it sit so it's gotta go. It has a really strong running 350 and a turbo 350 trans. I didn't build the motor but I have built many in the last 30 years so here's my best guess of whats in it. Feels strong i'm guessing 10:1 compression, Big cam, gear drive, roller tip rockers, Performer intake, holley, accell ignition, headers. Trans has a shift kit. 10 bolt posi rear, not sure of exact ratio. Drum brakes all the way around. Newer polished Torque thrusts with newer tires. The body can be whatever you want it to be. The car was repaired with some fiberglass patches in the past. It has some blistering in the lower quarters doors and fenders. You could drive as is, give it a quick going over and repaint it or get crazy and start replacing panels . To do the car perfect it would need outer quarter skins, a hood, lower fender patches, and lower door skin patches. There are a few bubbles below the rear window, this is a very common problem with these cars and you would be hard pressed to find one that didn't need attention in this area. The floors and frame are good. The trunk pan has some patches and would need replacing if you want it perfect. The interior is ok but it could use fresh carpet. The seats are decent, The rear is original and the fronts are 70's buckets. The console has been modified for the aftermarket shifter. The headliner has one seam that needs to be sewn, it's in nice shape the stitching must have dried out. The bumpers and trim are driver quality and not perfect.
