My wife and I bought this new in late 1999 and have enjoyed a lot of miles in this car. The only accident was 2 yrs ago when I hit a deer (or it hit me), with only a small amount of damage to the front end and was repaired. Over the years I have taken good care of this and used it to commute up until this summer. Currently, it needs new tires and has a check engine light after a few minutes of running. This is the same check engine that has been ON for 13 years. It references the glow plug circuit but it's been on forever. As expected with over 200,000 miles I have replaced parts over the years; the transmission, struts, springs, glow plugs, hoses, brakes, rotors etc., that have worn over time. The car is clean and runs well and I feel good about selling it as a reliable car. I cannot make any promises because it does have a lot of miles but it is a diesel too. It still gets almost 45 mpg and starts easily. I see other cars like this for thousands of dollars and wonder how anyone would pay that much for a 15 year old car with high miles. I've already been offered $1500 and would like to see what it's worth on E-BAY too.
