Ok guys and gals. Have you been looking for a classic style pick up with modern conveniences? Well look no further. This original 1970 GMC pick up has a lot going for it. The body has been fitted to a 1998 Chevy chassis. The entire chassis has been gone through. Bushings, leaf springs, front steering and suspension. All new and ready to go. The engine and trans are factory to the chassis. The mileage is under 70k on the driveline components. No smoke and is really tight. This thing is a Cowboy's Cadillac!!! This truck started its life as a Sierra Classic GMC 1500 series pick up truck, top of the line. Now for a list of the in's and outs of this Classic bodied modern truck. Factory A/C truck with a late model compressor Power steering Power brakes (disc front/drum rear) Sierra trim with clean interior Dashboard is mint One small tear in the driver's seat (see pic) Body is very solid No rust through at all on the body Rockers, quarters, fenders, etc are extremely solid A couple of small chips on the paint job but overall very presentable truck The bed is very solid and covered with steel diamond plate that is in great shape This truck starts, runs, drives and stops extremely well. Runs cool with no overheating problems I would have no hesitation jumping in and driving her anywhere. Radial A/T tires with great tread For those of you that noticed the extra lever near the 4 wheel drive selector, that is a switch that does away with the vacuum to the 4 wheel drive system so the system positively engages all the time. You do not have to exit to lock the hubs. An excellent feature. Lately I have had a couple of people win bids and not follow through or contact me.
