You are bidding on an original 1971 Honda CL350 Scrambler. Very low original miles of 6225 miles. V.I.N. CL350-3007069 Manufacture Date Tag: 12/70 Early production 1971 bike that was stored away for safe keeping after the original owner passed away. 150 ilbs. compression in each cylinder. New plugs. New battery. Tank is pretty clean inside but i would still recommend a flushing. Good tires. Excellent exhaust is very very nice with no rust and no dents and no holes!!! Try to find that on a 71, eh? The seat is excellent with very solid rust free seat pan too. The bike retains all of the original components to this bike including the original engine, carbs, air filters, air filter covers, side covers with mounting bolt and end caps, original guages, seat, tank, handlebars are very straight and true. Original hand grips, controls and lights too. Hard to find an original of these anymore. So many are cobbled together pieces of multiple bikes. This one is not. You are buying a CL350 as it came from the factory. The only thing that is not original are the 2 mirrors. I have started the bike and it sounds good with no wierd noises, no oil leaking. Shifts through the gears fine. Please remember that this bike is unrestored. I am representing it as an unrestord original in need of restoration and therefore please remember you are buying a bike that will need work to it before you deem it restored and road ready to pass any and all safety regulations. If you are looking for a restored bike, then please move on as this one may not be for you. That said, they are only original once!!!!! And originality is now becoming the determining factor in valuations at many of the current auction venues.
