Finished in a very attractive dark green metallic exterior over a new black interior, this handsome mild custom, and very unique, Corvair coupe features a black roof, painted bumpers, chrome BBS style wheels, 3 speed manual transmission and more. Overall this is an extremely presentable car sporting an older paint finish that shows quite well and certainly is far better than one would expect on a car at this very entry level price point. Having been in the classic car biz for many years, I have seen much worse paint jobs on cars many times more expensive. Car is all metal including doors and rear quarter panels, floors were repaired at some point in the past, trunk pan is original and in excellent condition as can be seen in the photos. Doors open and close very nicely and all around body panel alignment is quite good. Highlights: -Car still has original owner’s manual AND factory warranty booklet with very RARE Protect-O-Plate still attached! Also comes with 3 original hubcaps and original factory AM radio. -All original factory glass, extremely rare for a car of this age -New interior includes new seat covers, carpet and door panels and headliner -Nice solid straight body with very presentable paint finish and freshly painted roof -Good running engine with recently rebuilt carburetors -Solid transmission with good clutch feel -Working head lamps and indicators Lowlights: -This is essentially an unrestored 46 year old car. It does show some signs of age and will need some additional TLC. -Fuel gauge and speedometer are not working. -Needs weather strips around doors and engine compartment cover Overall, a very good looking car with well above average cosmetics, especially for a car under $4,000!
