This Tesla Roadster a 2008 model #265 in the production sequence was delivered new on March 3rd 2009. Since that date this car has been stored and charged in a heated building. It has been used for weekend outings and weekly as a commuter car. This Tesla comes with all the available chargers (3) A 110 15 amp cord for your common house socket, a 110 30 amp cord that is the type they use at a marina, and it comes with a 240volt 70 amp wall charger that we will include with the sale, it will be removed from our building after the sale is complete. This car has 11691 miles on it. It has always been serviced by Tesla Motors of New York, New York. This car has had all need warranty and service upgrade performed and in September of 2013 the car had new tires installed and the suspension was upgraded with Teslas adjustable suspension Kit at a cost of $6000.00 This car is in very good condition inside and out, the only exception being a slight impact blemish in the front nose, you may view the picture in this listing. This car , with a range of 212 miles is a wonderful commuter vehicle. Battery life as estimated by Tesla at over 100,000 miles,leaves much driving to be done before battery replacement is even a consideration. If you have been research Tesla Roadsters you will find that they are fully equipped with Heating,Air Conditioning , GPS Navigation , Stereo, Heated seats and a removable top. These Roadsters are quite fast with a 288 hp electric motor, as their advertising states Quicker than a Porsche, Greener than a Prius. These cars are a joy to drive, with only a slight jet like whine from the single speed drivetrain. This car is located in Redding, Ct 06896 and can be inspected and test driven by appointment. I tried to get a photo of this area , but the blue color of the car does not let the blemish show. The dent is two vertical lines about 1 1/2 inches tall about 4 inches apart just penetrating the depth of the paint, to deep to buff out but you can feel them with your finger. sorry for the lack of a revealing photo.
