Vehicle Detail
I'm selling my 1988 Fiero GT. I've had this beautiful car for almost 10 years. I bought it from a man much it the same position as me. He took great care of it and was starting a family. He sold it to me with 600 miles on it (that is not a typo). I put 24K miles on it driving it only for pleasure and to show it off. On average it has only been driven 2400 a year since I bought it. Like the gentleman I bought it from, as much as I love it, I had to make a decision: drive it, preserve it, or sell it. I cannot bring myself to add more miles to this beautiful machine. And I do not have the time or space anymore to keep it as a collectors item. This car is amazing, and it is fantastic experience. I have never driven it without watching people ooh and aah as I drive by. If you are interested in buying a Fiero then you already know how amazing these cars are. I trust you will do something awesome with it. Drive it, collect it, whatever you do you with it with I will be happy knowing it is in good hands. You can even mod it out if you want, just don't tell me :). This car is in near mint condition. It was kept in an air conditioned storage for the first 10 years of it's life (prior to my ownership). Since then, always in-doors, always with car cover. Exterior: The trim is in very good shape, one piece of trim was broken at a car show. It was replaced, but still have the original. The tires are a couple years old, Yokohamas, no road wear. There are small defects near the bottom of the driver door from road gravel. Interior: The dash, console, and everywhere you normally see Fieros failing, is in perfect condition. A new headliner was put in about 5 years ago, replacement material is perfect match. Seats, seat belts, door panels have slight wear. The floor boards have some discoloration. Floor mats are in exceptional condition. Power everything: locks, windows, mirrors, air condition, head lights, in perfect working condition. The driver's side automatic lock has a chip in the plastic. Mechanics: The engine runs beautifully. shortly after I bought it I removed the fuel tank an had it cleaned and coated (professionally) to remove and protect against any rust. The tank was almost perfect, though the treatment guarantees it will be for a long time to come. The car is regularly serviced, much more often than required. There has never been an issue with it mechanically or otherwise.
