Up for auction is a very nice original 1991 Dodge LE 150 4X4 pickup. This truck was sold new at a local Dodge dealer in York, Pa., Stetler Dodge. I purchased the truck from the original owner in 2011 as a collectible truck, stored it inside and only put approximately 2,000 miles on the truck while I have owned it. It is a very nicely optioned truck. Besides the LE SLT decor group, this truck has air conditioning, power windows, power locks, cruise control, tilt steering, AM/FM/Cassette stereo radio, power mirrors, sliding rear window, cargo lamp, chrome rear bumper, 8 hole alloy wheels and center band two tone paint. Dealer installed items include a "Dodge Ram" bed liner, trailer hitch and a Lund fiberglass sunvisor that has since been removed but is included in the sale. This Dodge basically needs a cosmetic restoration. The white paint is delaminated and peeling from the doors, cab and bed side. There is clear coat delamination to the roof. There are a few dings to the hood and an area at the left rear corner where the step bumper has been pushed into the bed side. These defects are clearly noted in the photos. This truck has no rust through what so ever and there has never been any rust repaired. The original owner had the white paint peeling issue repaired once while he owned it only for it to reappear several years later. Other than that, the balance of the paint is original. The photos show a very clean undercarriage. There is only surface rust to the frame and underbody but no heavy rust scale or rust through like you would expect to find on a 23 year old truck. The chrome front and rear bumpers do not have any rust. The rear bumper has the bend on the one end which would be able to be straightened. The original alloy wheels have typical cosmetic corrosion primarily wherever a wheel weight was installed. There is one wheel center cap missing. The tires are P235/75R15 mud and snow tires with very deep tread. The interior is all original and in very nice shape. The carpet has no unusual wear or stains. The cloth bench seat does not have any tears and the headliner is fine as are the dash and door panels. The engine compartment is very clean and rust free and features the very dependable 318 V/8 engine with throttle body fuel injection versus a carburetor coupled to an automatic transmission with overdrive, shift on the fly four wheel drive and a 3:55 axle ratio. The truck starts easily, runs smoothly and shifts properly. The brakes operate properly and there is a strong brake pedal. The only mechanical defects that I am aware of are the cruise control does not work due to what is believed to be a faulty servo and the power mirrors operate properly in and out but jump when you attempt to move them up and down. As stated above this truck shows 75,954 miles and is being sold as being actual miles. The title is clear with no issues. The original owners kit will be supplied to the buyer. If you are looking for a nice, unmolested Doge truck as a daily driver or as a restoration project, this is the one for you! It is being sold as-is with no warranty. The reserve is set at a very reasonable amount for a truck in this condition.
