1969 Mercury 250

Great barn find, project vintage sled. Running gear looks great, sprockets, bogies, track, belt , drives, and gearbox. The only things missing I can figure is the tank, tail light lens, windshield, and its trim. The engine was not stuck when I found it. I can see the wiring needs to be replace and there is no spark. I have never worked on such a rare sled, so decided to leave this to an expert in this make and year. It appears to be all original and have the actual 631 miles that it says it has. Missing fuel tank, windshield and its trim, and tail light lens. Cowl left side has been repaired. Chrome has surface rust and slight pitting. Track has dry cracks. Engine turns over but has no spark. Wiring needs to be all replaced. May be the cause of the no spark. Ser# 2744221 Engine Ser#2752794.
