Vehicle Detail

1967 Camaro VERY SOLID PROJECT CAR This is a 1967 Camaro, V8 Automatic. The VIN numbers match the vins in the secret locations, such as under the heater box. The frame rails are rust free, as are the shock towers, inner and outer rockers, and doors. The fenders have small rust spots on the bottoms, but would be a fairly easy fix. It is solid around the front and rear windows. The floors are fairly clean, with a couple of patches done in the eighties; they are usable as is or you can replace for a complete restoration. All the glass is good. The quarters were rolled to accommodate bigger rear tires and they do have some bondo. The hood is rust free, however, someone long ago put in hood pins. I have a very nice rust free original GM hood that would be included with the sale. The car was originally Bolero Red with black vinyl top and black bucket seats. Other factory options that were originally on this vehicle include; gauges, console, fold down back seat, etc. Please see the picture of the trim tag for the vehicle build details. This Camaro was built in the Norwood, Ohio plant. The engine currently in the vehicle is not complete, and is NON-running and NON-matching. It is a 350 that has been taken apart for a rebuild by the previous owner that was never completed. I assume that it does not work. The transmission in the car now is a Turbo 400, unknown if this transmission works. I also have the original shifter, which I will include. I will also include a 4 speed T10 manual transmission with shifter, condition unknown. The bumpers are nice driver quality and the trim is in very good shape given its age. Very clean rear bumper included. The trunk floor has been patched. I have additional rear quarter panels, a full length floor panel, and a full trunk pan which can be used for restoration. These items are rusted, as they have been exposed to the elements, but are being thrown in if the buyer would like them. I also have the wiper motor (unsure if it works) and wiring harness (unsure if it works). The car was painted to its present shade of maroon in 1987, and has been off the road and in storage since 1995. The car comes with the newer American Racing Rims with ok tires. The car has clean inner and outer rear wheel wells, and nice rust-free front wheel wells. The grille on the car is damaged, as seen in the pictures. I have a like new RS grille and taillights that I will include in the sale. It won’t take much to get her on the road again, or someone could have a great full blown restoration project car. Clean title in hand. Mileage on title reads 888,888. Most of the interior is there, just needs to be put back together, except the console which is missing. All Deposits are non-refundable. Inspections are welcomed and encouraged before bidding not after. This is a project car with a lot of upside potential. Please Note: This is the only time I will be listing this vehicle for sale. If my reserve is not met, I will start the restoration. Thank You
