This is an original 1946 Cadillac 60 Special,the Cadillac was purchased brand new in Orlando Florida, and has always been a Florida car, original interior that is in very nice condition but since original of course there are a few stains and moth hole damage, headliner is in perfect original condition for a 69 year old car, the carpet has been replaced with correct wool carpet like orignal. Engine is original, this is a numbers matching car! From my research is is a early 1946. This car has never been taken apart, radio humms but does not play, engine purrrrr's and is strong, VERY NICE running engine. The car had been in storage since 1971, obviously some things had to be done to be sure the car was a running car, new water pump, radiator recore, water hoses replaced etc. fuel tank replaced, brakes redone, exhaust replaced like original, new tires, color is the original color of the car I believe London Grey, chrome is good and all there, but NOT perfect, the rear bumper has some issues where it looks like the chrome is coming apart at one corner, other than showing some age the rest of the bright work is in very nice condition. all lights function, and this big, big car that floats down the road like a Cadillac should. Solid car, NO hidden rust issues, NO accidents, or filler, solid car! We are only selling this car due to a job relocation, other than that I would have loved to hold on to this car for many many years .And with that thought if the price is not reached, will put it in storage. For I am sure this rare gem will only go up in value over the years. If you like originality, this is truly an original car.
