I have recently acquired a 1936 Chrysler C7 airstream that was in the process of having a full frame off restoration. The whole under side of this car was cleaned, painted and all parts replaced including all bolts, nuts and washers which were replaced with all stainless steel. The engine was completely rebuilt along with the transmission and rear end. The radiator is new.All brakes, hardware and drums were replaced.The fuel tank is new. All 5 tires were replace with period white sidewalls. inside the car I am not sure what the material is, felt I think but has all been replaced. the dash instrument panel and all window trim has been redone by a B, Estis of Sarasota FL. The car I would say is about 60% done and all the hard part is done. this is an all steel car. No bondo or fiberglass has been used. The car has been painted in sections as it was being redone. What I see that needs done is the interior, all the glass needs reinstalled, (all the glass is there) All the chrome put on, (all chrome is there some needs polished) Fenders and doors painted. ( I have all the paint in Lacquer). I am in no position to finish this car I wish I was its a beautiful car. My loss is your gain. Ask questions i will try to answer them.
