Hello, you are bidding on quite possibly the nicest and cleanest samurai anywhere. This is a 1988.5 Suzuki Samurai with a 1.6 engine, 5- speed trans, 4x4 convertible. This truck had a $16,200 full frame and body off restoration in 2012 by renowned Samurai restorer SUZUKI JOHN of Las Vegas, Nevada. No expense was spared! All parts used were NOS/OEM. this truck was a Nevada truck it's entire life until 2 years ago when it was sent to Louisiana, where it was a Sunday driver for a retired Sheriff. The truck has 9,000 miles since restoration, 71,000 on the truck before it was restored. Everything is new or rebuilt, it has an axle over kit, providing 4" of lift. 30" tires with a full size spare. The engine, transmission, and transfer case were all rebuilt at time of restoration. This truck has never had any rust on it, All new OEM interior and carpet was also installed. It features ice cold A/C for really hot days, a webber carb upgrade, it runs and drives better than it did new due to upgraded parts. This truck has never been in snow, or salt, and only caught in the rain once. This is the closest you will ever come to a brand new 1988.5 Suzuki, unless you have a time machine to go back almost 30 years. There is a small 1"-2" tare in the top due to it was not completely snapped on and the wind caught it. It can be sewed or an OEM replacement is available for $230 from Suzuki john.com.
