1992 VW Corrado SLC VR6, black on black, California car with only 140k original miles. RARE car! This is an original California car with zero rust or accident history with a super straight body. I purchased this car in April of 2013 from a fellow VW enthusiast with the intent of fully tricking it out, but my work is keeping me from doing so (I'm a CPA). I searched high and low for a clean bodied/clean Carfax history Corrado and luckily came across this clean example last year. This car was all stock prior to my ownership, and I have done a few tasteful mods to it (it will not be hard to convert it back to it's original condition if so desired). Runs and drives excellent- engine is very healthy w/no leaks or smoking (the prior owner had the upper engine rebuilt+new timing belt @118k miles w/documented receipts- $2400). This car is a blast to drive and has incredible power- I get a huge grin on my face every time I drive her :) . Here are the mods/repairs I've done: - Oettinger Body Kit- Matte Black Paint (I used Plasti-Dip for low maintenance and durability- can be peeled off if desired).- 18" VW wheels (front tires @80%, rear @60%)- New clutch- New brakes- New tune-up (spark plugs/wires/cap/rotor, etc.)- New water pump/thermostat/housing- Free-flow sport muffler (sounds great w/nice throaty sound, but not too loud- original muffler included)- Free-flow sport air filter - Front seats re-upholstered (back seats still in great shape)- New headliner- New highest quality OEM front windshield (Saint Gobain)- New Coco black/gray floor mats- Kenwood CD Player All electricals work on the car (i.e., rear spoiler, power windows, seat belt motors, etc.) except the sunroof (the motor works, but will need the driver's side guide pin to slide back). The prior owner bypassed the heater core because it was leaking, but I have a new heater core that will be included with the car (just needs to be installed which I haven't had any free weekends to do so- I have only driven the car on nice days anyways here in CA so never had a need for the heater). All in all this is a very solid, good looking, reliable VW Corrado with tons of potential. These are very rare cars, so people always stop to check it out (even here in CA, where unique cars are everywhere).
