This is my work car. I'm retired now so I no longer need it. I bought it new and have been the only driver. I have done all the work myself, but it hasn't needed much. I gave it a new alternator at 80,000 miles. Other than normal wear parts (brakes, belts) it hasn't needed anything. A year ago I completely rebuilt the front end at 200,000 miles complete with new rack and pinon unit. Then had a four wheel alignment done. Took it on a 4,200 round mile trip to northern Idaho with no problems last year. Now, the transmission needs attention. I really don't need her anymore, so She is up for sale. If you win, she can be driven home, if you gently baby her thru the 2-3 gear shift as it pauses, then shifts hard. I enjoy tinkering with my own vehicles so I bought the Ford Shop Manual years ago. I include this two volume manual in the sale. Except for the alternator, everything is original including the starter, water pump, rear brake shoes, etc. All are working properly yet. Glass is all good, no cracks or pecks. Interior is great except the drivers seat shows a little wear. But not worn thru or even close. Has never been smoked in. Cold A/C. Good heater. Cruise control works as it should. All gauges are good. Engine uses no oil. No leaks or drips anywhere. Oil has been changed every 3,000 miles. New air cleaner every 25,000 miles. New timing belt and spark plugs every 100,000 miles. Tires are about 50%, so will be good for a long time yet. Brakes are good, does not shimmy or pull to the side.
