1966 VW Kombi Bus Hello, I am selling my 66' bus. This is a project bus, all parts have been removed. There is no motor. There are many new seals, gaskets, wiring harness, and misc. pieces that come with it. There are a lot of original pieces like most of the glass and frames, no back window though. There are two bench frames in the cargo area and two extra pictured outside of the bus, previous owner put a 2/3 split seat up front the rails still need to be welded in for the passengers side but the drivers side is welded in. Rails come with the bus. There is a plastic storage container full of odds and ends too numerous to list. Two brand new headlights. I pictures several bumpers that come with the bus. The body is pretty solid, I have seen much worse out there for sale. The cargo area would need the section replaced where the doors latch for it to be really solid there but it is ok. There is a replacement section of the cab floor board provided as well as a replacement dog leg. This is a project, I have had the bus for about 6 years now and it has just been stored in a shop. I have not had time to do what I wanted so I thought I would let someone else have a shot. If you are looking for a bus project that is a really good start look no further. the body is pretty straight without a ton of dents and damage to fix, plus it is mostly rust free with only some rust in the usual floor areas, the rest is minimal surface rust. The paint is just a cover up job someone did a real restoration would remove it and do the body work. Some previous owner cut the back deck above the engine compartment to access the engine without pulling it. The cut is pretty clean and just needs to be welded back up. The buyer is responsible to pick up the bus, if I have to touch, package, meet with anyone to pickup, ship, or anything other that watch it get loaded and leave I will have an additional charge to be determined according to circumstances. This is a bill of sale, it is out of DMV, I tried to get paperwork in my name but it had to be a drivable working bus before they would process. DMV said it would not be an issue once it was it was in service again. I will answer any questions to the best of my ability and take any other pics and text them upon request. I really wanted to do this project and felt this was a great bus to do it with, just don't have the time. I am not in any position to have to sell this bus, the reserve is what it is (which is the starting price $5000), if it is met then it sells, do not contact me to lower the price. This car will only go up in value as time goes by so I don't mind sitting on it longer, there is plenty of space in my shop.
