Up for sale is a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited in need of some engine work or an engine rebuild. The jeep is Gold colored and has a tan leather interior, including 10-way adjustable power seats. The drivetrain is a 4.7L V8, Automatic transmission Full time 4wd with high and Low Range . The jeep has approximately 212,000 miles (battery is currently dead and the odometer is digital). The engine was running. However increasing rpms causes noise and chatter from the engine. I don't know what is wrong with the engine, as I simply parked it when the noise started. The radiator was replaced about 3 months ago and has less than 5,000 miles on it. The tires are in decent condition, The spare matches the other 4 wheels. The body panels are in good shape straight with no rust. Never off road and is a Georgia Truck (No road salt) The interior is in pretty good condition but the passenger floor carpet has had a spot cut out under where the floor mat goes because of a stain.But they could use a cleaning on some of them with a good leather cleaner and conditioner. There are a few other minor cosmetic issues, such as a crack in the windshield along the defrost line and the trim around the sunroof needs to be reglued. The drivetrain other than the motor is running fine. Over all it's a nice vehicle and would make a great vehicle if you have the time and knowledge of the motor to repair it. Or it could be a nice 1st time vehicle or 2nd vehicle, for not a lot of money. The Jeep is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end this auction at any time should it be sold.All in all, this vehicle would be a good one to part out, if one has the time and space to do so. The headlights and lenses are clear and and was garaged until a month ago. The rest of the glass and paint are in really good shape for a vehicle of this age. There is a black scuff on the front bumper and small dings that you can see in the photo on the rear hatch. The Jeep is available for local pickup or a shipper can pick it up here at your expense and arrangements. But will need to be picked up here by flatbed, I can't take it to a pick up point.
