The actual VIN for this vehicle is AA30151. This vehicle has a non standard VIN because it's a kit car.Ariel Atom 3 - SuperchargedThis model has the latest Honda K24 2.4 Liter Engine. The car has been upgraded with a CT Engineering Roots style supercharger system that increases horsepower by 65-70hp at the wheels. There is a link below from the company that makes the kit. Larger fuel injectors and colder spark plugs were also included among others. I purchased this kit from ProCivic.com who sells a lot of the CT Engineering kits to owners of Honda’s. Search CT Engineering and look up their 2012+ Honda Civic SI Supercharger packages.The installation of the Supercharger kit took place at ACME Garage in San Diego, CA. Miles, the Owner, is meticulous with his installations and pulled the motor out to ensure proper installation and fitment and to protect the chassis of the car. All receipts will be provided to the buyer. To get the supercharger properly tuned I purchased a Flashpro from Ariel Atom’s factory in Virginia. Before running the engine the first time this tune needed to be loaded. This provided a base map that enabled Vitaly, also known as "Vit Viper" on various forums in the Honda world, to work his magic tuning it for a safe conservative tune for daily driving. And another tune for 100 octane race fuel. To switch between the tunes it requires the Flashpro handheld tuner (included in sale). Both the 91 octane and 100 octane tunes will be provided to the buyer. The supercharger parts (kit) alone cost me over $4,500. The installation ran around $3,000. And professional tuning ran another $500. That doesn't include the thousands of dollars also spent below on options I installed after I bought the car. But it was so worth it. This Ariel drives like a Honda Civic but flies like a supercar now. Not that it didn’t before, but now it’s an entirely different world. When I bought this vehicle, it had 618 miles. I purchased it from Ferrari of Tampa Bay who took it on trade from the original owner who resided in Florida. I shipped it out to California. At the time, the vehicle had a silver frame, silver wheels, street tires, and a red bonnet and air intake. During my ownership, I’ve had the entire car painted with PPG paint and 3 coats of clear. The paint job took 2 weeks to complete due to the intricate masking job required to get it to look the way you see it today. I still have that Florida title from the original Owner and this will be provided to the buyer; and buyer will be 2nd official owner. AKA “Mild to wild”• Nitto NT-01 205-50-ZR15 front tires• Nitto NT-01 255-40-ZR17 rear tires• There are two exhaust options for the car - it came with the racing and it was too loud so I called Ariel and purchased the quieter “Street” version • Stainless Steel “large diameter” exhaust tips• Hondata Flash Pro Tuning Device (supercharger installation) purchased direct from Ariel AtomAlso included are: (1) Owners Manual and (2) key fobs.It is the buyer's responsibility to register the vehicle in their home state. This vehicle would require SB-100 exemption in California to be registered for legal road use. As such, Seller makes no representations or warranties regarding California registration and therefore assumes no liability or responsibility for registration in California. A California Buyer (only) would receive a bill of sale only and would need to apply for SB-100 exemption status and approval with the DMV before it can be legally driven in California. Sales tax would be required for CA buyers only. All other buyers outside of California will receive the Florida Title (in my possession) and it will be up to Buyer to pay any and all fees related to registering vehicle outside of California.
