I'm selling my 1955 Chevy Nomad that I purchased in June. A true barn find. The engine and transmission was pulled in 1973 and some restoration was started and the car has been in the same garage, dry storage, since. I was impressed how complete and intact it was. The dash is unmolested, interior all there including minor trim pieces, all glass is there and very little has been taken out of the car. I believe we found all the original parts and trim for the Nomad in the garage. I have most of the 265 engine, transmission etc. If you wanted to go back to original, the Nomad was originally a V8 - stick shift with power steering. The body is basically straight with minor typical rust in the floor pans and inner rocker panels. I don't think it needs a complete floor replacement. What's there can be patched. The spare tire wheel well and behind the seats looks good. There is no rust around the tail gate, doors or jambs. The doors fit good and the tail gate works. Externally the rockers look good and the front inner fenders, gravel stops, etc. look good. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs and arrangements, I will help coordinate in any way that I can.
