Vehicle Detail
I have up for sale a 1938 Chevrolet truck. This truck was used in Broadway, Virginia to haul coal to customers by JM Hulvey. I have the original 1938 title framed. It was marked void and not destroyed before DMV decided to change their laws. I do have a current title and registration from Virginia. I recently moved to Caifornia and just don't have room for this truck. It was built from a 1 1/2 ton truck. It still has the original frame but has been upgraded to a 14 bolt GM corporation one ton rear axle and a 1954 one ton front axle. It has power steering, power brakes, and cruise control. The engine is a mid 90's 350 that was just rebuilt. It is bored .30 over with new cam, pistons, etc. It has approx. 4000 miles on it. The transmission is a 700r4 which has only 500 miles on it. It is equipped with a heavy duty cooler with its own fan under the truck. Shifting is done via a Lokar shifter. The bed was fabricated similar to art deco era wrecker bodies. It has a 2" thick yellow pine floor. It has tie downs in the bed as well as the stainless rails. It will easily haul two large Harleys. It is equipped with a Reese style hitch and trailer brakes. It handles a trailer very well. The paint has been touched up with black laquer to match what was on the truck. The signage on the doors is what was there when I got the truck and has been left untouched. The interior has a stereo system with blue tooth, SoCal Speed Shop gauges, and new upholstery.
