Vehicle Detail
Rare low mile (just over 60,000) 7.3 Powerstroke diesel, Extended Cab 4x4, XLT with an even more rare 6 speed manual transmission. All you could ever want to have in a great work or personal truck that's been babied all its life. This truck is equipped with all the normal stuff an XLT should have: power windows and locks, cruise, CD player, ice cold A/C, tube steps, bedliner, and, BF Goodrich AT 10 plys, trailer brake controller. Never had a gooseneck or 5th wheel hitch. This is a really nice truck and what you see is what you get. I didn't try to clean up or shine anything on this one, not even a wash job. Just took pictures and put them on just like it was traded in. I'd much rather show it to you like it sits so you know just what it is. Pictures of the underside show that there is no rust, no off-roading, everything on this is clean and shows how it was taken care of. The inside is like new, a wipe-down and vacuum and it would be new. Always had floor-mats and was never gotten in dirty, the way it looks. All options work just like they should. Paint on the outside is in great condition, no real scratches or door dings aside from the 1 down low on the passenger bedside. Evidently something got rubbed down the side of it and made it wavy just in front of the tire. I had a good painter look at it and he quoted me $500 to have it repaired (2-3 days shop time). I am listing it as is. If you purchase it and would like to have that repaired, forward payment for the repair and I'll take it straight to him. If it doesn't sell, I may repair it after the listing. Other than that, this truck would be very hard to pick. Looking at it shows the care that was taken by the owner. As for operating condition, this one absolutely runs like new. I've owned a lot of Ford trucks and this one drives perfectly. Steering is tight, motor fires up, runs and operates perfectly. All options work just like they should. Has updated shocks. And it shifts even better than new. When traded in, this truck had the typical chatter made by many of the manual transmission factory flywheels. We spent well over $1,000 to put in an upgraded LUK Single Mass flywheel and full clutch kit. Not only do these clutches have better holding power and durability than the factory clutch, it also shifts smoother and the clutch is 50% lighter, making these a joy to drive.
