Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is my 2004 Acura TL. Hands down, my favorite car I've ever owned. Unfortunately, I'm a bit of a collector (hoarder if you ask the wife) and I can't keep them all. We have a new Subaru Outback for the kids and thd dogs, so I had to pick between this an my Audi S5, and well, thats a V8 so she stays. I travel a lot for work, and this car is amazing on the highways. If the opportunity comes up, I'll likely own another one of these someday. Its not in perfect shape, but she runs like a Honda, and has zero mechanical issues. Leather interior, and the hard to find 6 speed manual transmission. This car has the perfect mix of good MPG, while still giving a nice kick in the pants if you put it to the floor. Always had the oil changed etc. Had 59400 on it when I bought it, been thru 2 sets of brakes, a couple sets of tires (I drove it with aftermarket 18's on it, I put stock wheels back on to sell it) and a clutch about a year ago. I did the master cylinder and throw out at that time just to be safe. Tires that are on the car have about 80% of their life left. I only put about 10K on them. If I find them, I MIGHT have a set of snow tires for it also. But I don't know where those are. So technically their not included in the sale. I keep cars in 3 different buildings, so if they turn up, I'll gladly throw them in the trunk. Car is tinted, 5% in rear, 30% on the front doors. Windshield is perfect, no chips, sand pitting etc. It DOES have the Type S tail lights. Their OEM's, not knock offs. And I pulled the emblems off the trunk. Personal thing, I hate emblems on my cars. I left the Acura symbols because those leave holes. The others are just glue. I have them in the glove box. The bad....there's always a bad with a 10 year old car. Scuff on front passenger side of bumper. We own a property up north, and to be honest, when its raining, I'm lazy and I bump the gate to open it. So thats why its scuffed. Most of it would buff out, but I haven't bothered with it. There's a small tear on the map pocket on the front drivers side door. I have no idea when that one happened, been there at as long as I can remember. The Nav needs a new CD. Its in the trunk, and one of the kids ejected it and scratched the heck out of it. I think their only a few bucks on ebay. Interior could use a good cleaning, I haven't had it done in about a year. I haven't driven the car much in the last 6 months. Took it to dinner tonight just to make sure all was well, ran like a champ. Half thought about keeping it, but the money from this is going to fund the completion of my 67 Camaro. Cash only, deposit due in 24hrs by Paypal. I don't mind meeting a shipper if you want to have it shipped. And if you want to view it before the auction ends, let me know. It's available during business hours Monday-Friday. I'm going to park it up at my office building tomorrow. I had a video of the car from when I was going to list it a couple months ago, but can't find it. I'll reshoot it tomorrow, and post it in the ad. On Nov-01-14 at 21:44:38 PDT, seller added the following information: YES Water Pump and timing belt were done when the clutch was done. Since motor was out, it wasnt much to add that on so I just did it. Had several people ask, sorry for not updating sooner
