1968 CORVETTE CONVERTIBLE IN EXCELLENT SHAPE 350 ci engine that has been worked and produces around 375 hp 5 speed Tremec transmission with hydraulic clutch Cold factory A/C with updated sanden compressor Power Steering Power disc brakes Power antenna Fiberglass mono rear leaf spring Polyurethane rear bushings Updated front and rear sway bars Adjustable trailing arms Stainless steel brake and fuel lines This is one of my personal cars, titled in Florida and in my name. It has been a southern car all of its life. I drove this car from Florida to N.Y last September and it has been in my climate controlled garage in Westchester County, New York ever since. The 5 speed Tremec transmission works flawlessly and allows the car to cruise all day at 80+ mph. I would have no hesitation driving this car anywhere. Dual electric fans keep the motor cool, even in the Florida heat with the A/C cranking. The tires are like new radial T/A's with very low miles. I put them on before I drove the car to N.Y. The paint and body are in great shape. It has one penny sized chip on the right fender where the hood must have hit it before I aligned the hood properly The headlights come on and flip up simultaneously. The interior is in excellent condition. No dash or seat cracks. The top and top frame are in great shape. Some of the fiber optic lines are cracked. Yes, I know that the front gills are off a later model car. The previous owner hated the '68 gills and had them changed. They look great. Lately I have had a couple of people win bids and not follow through or contact me. PLEASE, I am running this auction with no reserve to honestly set the price. These auctions cost me time and money.
