This is your chance to own one of the most sought-after collector cars in the world - at a fraction of the normal price. The XK-E is still ranked by many stylists as the most beautiful production car ever built. I am selling my late father's 1969 Jaguar XK-E roadster that was water-damaged from Hurricane IKE. The insurance company deemed it salvage, & therefore it cannot be titled, unless with another frame & VIN #. Most of the damage is surface rust. Before the hurricane, the motor & transmission were rebuilt, & everything was in perfect mechanical condition. After the hurricane, he used to crank it up & drive it out of the garage on the weekends, but that was several years ago. It currently does not start, but possibly could with a new battery. Selling AS-IS, as a parts car, with a bill of sale, & without a title that can be transferred. The original Texas title will come with the car (for documentation purposes only) but the title cannot be transferred. The car is located in Bacliff, TX. at my mother's house. I live in Frisco, TX.
