Vehicle Detail

1956 Custom Chevy 2 Door Post I purchased this 1956 Chevy in 2003 at the Goodguys Nationals in Indiana. The car builder was from Kentucky and did all of the work himself. I believe I am the 3rd owner. It was in the 1992 Super Chevy Magazine which I have a copy of and will it will come with the car. The car is fully tubbed and channeled over the frame. The rear sub frame was extended to allow the large tire size to Roofline Sits low and the body panels on the car are extremely straight. It has a custom interior, rugs, head liner and roll bar. Strong attention to detail has been taken to coordinate the cars color scheme including the custom Chevrolet stitching on the bucket seats. It has no rear seats because of the rear tubs however with a little creativity I’m quite sure something could be made. It just wasn’t in my best interest and I wanted to leave the interior untouched as it is in the magazine. It has no front bumper but it has a custom front air dam/spoiler. The car was on the road last in 2010 and prior for about 3 years. I am not quite sure of the millage on the motor as it never had a speedometer. It only came with a tachometer. I was planning on putting in a new gauge cluster but never got that far. I drove it for a few years, which was all of about 3000 miles to and from car shows. The car will need all new instrument gauges I never replaced them. I started to put Vintage Air on it and stopped right after I installed the under dash unit. I have all the parts both electrical and mechanical to complete the installation. MUST SELL! A true show car winner as I have taken a few with this car. 350 Small Block Chevy (not sure of engine specs, I didn’t build it) But it runs tight and strong with a nice lope at idle! Headers Flowmaster Dual Exhaust Edlebrock 650 Carb and Intake Manifold. Electric Cooling Fan Billet Specailties Tru Trac Serpentine Pully System Ford 4 Speed Toploader Transmission Ford 9” rear end, I’m guessing the gear set is in the 390 range. The car is quick off the line. Custom Tail Lights In Trunk 15 Gal Fuel Cell No Power Windows , Fronts Crank Only as the Rear Windows are stationary. Power Steering Custom Car Cover with Chevrolet Emblems Stitched on to the Sides Power Front Brakes , Drums on Rear Bill Gildden Front Wheels Front Tires are new, Rear Tires have good tread.
