Up for sale is this Beautifully restored 1967 Mustang GT390 Fastback ! This car is all Original just like it came from the factory and Loaded with optionsNumbers matching Engine, Trans and Rear endBody: This car has been completely restored inside and out. The paint is a high quality base coat clear coat that shins really nice and deep. The car has the optional Turn Signal style hood which look better than the stock flat hood. The finned rear panel is a Rare option that was added and I think it looks really good in the flat grey finish. The body is nice and straight with no waves. All the gaps are nice and the doors, hood and trunk close good. The Vintage Burgundy exterior is a fantastic color on these cars. This car was built in San Jose, California and has spent most of its life in the Los Angeles and the South. All the underside, floorpans, frame rails, trunk floor, cowl, fender aprons, quarter panels etc.. and good and solid. Interior: The black interior has been completely restored back to factory condition. The dash pad has no cracks or warping. None of the seats have any tears. The carpet and door panels are in nice shape. No extra holes in the dash. The car has a factory AM / FM stereo with no speaker holes cut in the fiberglass panels or trap door like usual. It has the optional fold down rear seat and factory tinted glass. Nice original console with a Hurst shifter. The car came from the factory with Air Conditioning. Everything is there in the interior however under the hood I do not have the compressor or brackets. They are not hard to find, I just never got around to it. Suspension, Brakes, Steering & Wheels: All of the suspension, steering and brakes have either been rebuilt or replaced. It has the Factory Original Power front Disc Brakes. Factory Power steering works good and it doesn't wander and isn't loose. Larger GT sway bar and quicker steering ratio with a new Flaming River tilt steering column The wheels are correct 67 Mustang Styled Steel mag wheels with fairly new BFG Radial T/A's. Plenty of tread and none rub. The car steers, stops and drives just like it should. Engine, Trans & Rear: The original 390GT Engine has been completely rebuilt and runs like a top. No smoke, ticking or knocking. It starts right up and runs real strong through all the gears. Stock GT exhaust manifolds through dual exhaust. The toploader 4speed transmission shifts good through all the gears. Hurst shifter. The 9inch rear has 3:25 Limited Slip. I'm going to upload a couple videos of the car: Bottom Line: A 67 Mustang Fastback Big Block 4 speed GT in great colors and nicely optioned is about as desirable as it comes in the Mustang word. Likely a 1 of 1 built, I need to order that report from Marti. This is a fantastic car. If money was endless, I would never sell it. Recently had a baby and don't have time right now for this car and don't want to see it sit. This car has always been well maintained, garaged kept and driven sparingly.
