Vehicle Detail

1984 Trans Am, properly licensed, titled and in my name, no car flipping drama or stories. Odometer shows 97,000 miles, but is exempt and I don't know the actual mileage. Bought the car at the end of last year, put it directly into storage for the winter and took it out and drove it this spring and summer. Had my fun with it, but I lost my storage place and now it has got to go. The car needs a muffler, tires, driver side review mirror and interior mirror. It leaks a little oil and is sometimes hard to start if it sits too long, more than a week or two, but starts easily with a shot of starting fluid. The car has the ram air set up (kinda rare) and t tops (not as rare) and the interior is in good shape except for the driver's seat as shown in the picture and the dash pad which is cracked. The door panels are in excellent shape and the rear seats and passenger seat are excellent as well. It has second generation wheels (15 X 8 deep dish, the more desirable rim) and the tires are bad, they hold air, but they need to be replaced. Ram air setup is intact on the car, but I am not sure if the solenoid works, never bothered with it. The car drives and stops just fine, and the transmission will sometimes give a little slap when it goes through the gears. The car is loud because it doesn't have a muffler on it, the muffler was cut off. (It was that way when I bought it and I'm okay with how loud it is so I never put a muffler on it.) Headlight motors work fine (see pictures and yes, one headlight is burnt out) and rear hatch lifts work fine. This car should be considered a bit of a project, but is a very nice car to start with. Also, the pictures make the car look better than it is, yes better than it is. I am an honest person and frankly the pictures look better than the car does in person, but that is true with pictures of all cars, they tend to "hide" some of the "defects." Car is sold "as -is" and car will not leave here until payment in full has been made. This is a no reserve auction and the car will be sold to the high bidder and please only bid if you are serious, and I will not renegotiate the winning bid price, so only bid what you are willing to pay. I may be able to allow for pre-inspection for local bidders if my work schedule allows, but currently I am very busy with work. Let me know if you have any questions and please be patient for me to get back to you. Thank you.
