Due to a non paying bidder who never answered any emails or alerts, this car is back for sale. Please understand that these listings cost time and money and I am being fair by offering the car at no reserve. Please be fair and only bid if you know that you want the car. I will be more than happy to make the car available for inspection during the bidding process. What we have here is an excellent entry level 1973 Corvette. Its the first year of the rubber front bumper Vettes. Its the last of the chrome bumper Vettes. In 74 they did away with the rear chrome bumper as well. That makes this model pretty unique. I have a feeling these cars will be up and coming on the collectability scale in the future. This one in particular has a no hit body that all the gaps and body lines look good. The paint is flaking off in spots but a good paint job will take care of that. The interior is all original and in unrestored condition. Everything is there and works as it should. Even the flip up headlights are operational. This car was cared for all of its 40 plus years of life. The engine is not #'s matching. It is an aftermarket factory replacement engine. "GM goodwrench". The car has less then 1000 miles on it since installation. It runs excellent. The trans is original and shifts the way it should. The rear end is original and works properly as well. The brakes work good. No leaks, and the pedal feels good. The tires have plenty of tread left but have been on the car for quite some time. I'm sure you could get a season or 2 out of them. That's up to the buyer. Unfortunately this car is a New York car. I believe here its entire life. This means, yes there is rust and corrosion on the underside of the car. The floors are soft in spots. The frame has the typical bottom dog leg rot. There are kits that are out there to repair all of this. Or you could replace the frame. That's up to the buyer. We actually have another rust free frame section that we will make available to the winning bidder of this car for free. Its very clean. As for bidding on this car.
