However, if the winning bidder prefers a hardtop, we have a black small window (used from 1955-1959) hardtop available for purchase. As you can see in the video, the engine starts effortlessly. The gas tank appears to have been replaced with a new unit. I would recommend a full fluid/filter service and inspect all systems to determine any needs. Cosmetically, the paint polishes nicely and could be touched up if you want a car that looks good from five feet. However, if you want a show car, a respray is advisable. The red leather interior has been recently replaced. With some tiding up, the interior can easily be made serviceable. Overall, I consider this an excellent 190sl to tidy up, drive and improve along the way. Alternatively, you can perform a full restoration to factory standards on this prime example of a numbers matching 190sl!
