Was sold new at Buffington Motors in Inglewood CA on August 23 1967 to Reece Lewis of Manhattan Beach CA.. I have the original Protect-O-Plate warranty booklet and the owners manual. This is a 3 owner garage kept California car that is wearing 95% of its original paint. This car has been very well maintained and cared for all of its life. This is a great running and driving car...that can be driven anywhere today. The original interior is in excellent original condition. on a 1-10... I would give the interior a 9.5. The dash...door panels etc...are in excellent original condition and are free from any cracks or wear. The original carpet is in excellent condition. The seats and headliner are in excellent original condition and are free from any rips or tears. The weatherstripping and rubber parts are in great condition as well. As with most Cadillacs...they are well equipped...and this one is no exception. Tilt telescope wheel... Remote mirror... Sentinal lights...that work... The R-12 A/C blows ice cold. All the power windows work (with the exception of the L/R).... Power seat works.... AM-FM radio works... Power antenna works.... The exterior is still wearing 95% of its original paint.. I would rate the exterior a 7.5.. The original paint still shines but shows its fair share of flaws...chips...scrapes...scratches...touch ups and what not....but still has a very nice patina. The body is very very nice but does show some minor dents/dings on both rear 1/4 panels with the passenger side being the worse.. All of the body lines line up as they should....and does not appear to have ever been in a major accident. The lower front fenders had some minor rust that has been repaired. The trim...bumpers...etc... are in very nice shape as to be expected with any garage kept California car. From 10' away the car is dead sharp. It receives compliments and turns heads everywhere it goes. With a quality repaint and some detailing...this would be a top shelf car. Mechanically the car is in very good condition. I would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere. The car has been very well maintained and I just did a bunch of work to it myself. The original 429 V8 runs great! The transmission shifts as it should... It has that traditional "cushy" Cadillac ride these cars are famous for. This is a very nice...straight...solid tight car.... The car has a quality feel to it. This car has always been owned by mature adults and has NEVER been abused in any way. RECENT WORK: (4) brand new tires with the wider white wall, new front brakes and wheel cylinders, A/C service, motor mounts, fresh fluids, complete tune up...cap, rotor, wires, plugs , carb rebuild, fuel filter, fuel sending unit, and probably a few more things that I'm forgetting. This is a bid to win auction... I will not end the auction early.. If you want to buy the car....bid on it...but only bid if you intend on following through with the transaction. The reserve is very fair....and priced to sell. I want to sell this car...not play games. Car will not be released until paid in full funds have cleared my bank. A $500 deposit is due within 48 hours of the auction closing. The balance is to be paid with in 10 days of the auction closing. Vehicle must be picked up within 20 days of the auction closing. The car is currently registered in the state of California...and I do have a clean and clear California title in my name.
