Vehicle Detail

1979 Volkswagen Fuel injected Super Beetle convertible "Karmann Wolfsburg"(Which was the final year the classic Beetle was sold in the USA) 62,985 Original miles All matching Numbers (Frame, Engine, Transmission)New top, headliner and New Tires installed in 2013A Complete thorough professional $4,500.00 "Engine Rebuild" also in 2013, utilizing all Original OEM parts.Maintained exclusively for over fifteen years now by a Former Member of the "Volkswagen Service Guild" with over 47 years of experience specializing in Volkswagen - who may be contacted for verification and any questions at "Larry's Foreign Car Repair" 870-935-4008, ask for Mr. Larry Nichols (or call him on his personal cell phone at 870-761-1453.)Please look at both our pictures and the videos provided before bidding (Special requests are more than welcome). This is a 35 year old vehicle, not a brand new vehicle. It has over 35 years and almost 63,000 miles of road use and is not being sold as flawless or perfect. We have not tampered or modified the vehicle; the vast majority of this vehicle is OEM and not a bunch of aftermarket junk. We've invested a great deal of time and money into the mechanics of this car, over the past year and a half: Brakes, tires/wheels, alignment, headliner, convertible top, headlights, taillight lenses, sun visors, etc. More importantly, we chose to perform a full professional engine rebuild due to the minimal annual usage of the vehicle (don't be fooled by extreme low mileage postings - these engines need to run to stay effective/efficient.) The rebuild was extensive (the only remaining original part would be the block, "which was fine" and kept to retain the matching serial numbers. The original fuel injectors were also replaced OEM and not converted to carburetors - which most uninformed folks may do. Again, please ask questions prior to bidding to visualize a clear picture of this TRUE INVESTMENT QUALITY VEHICLE.
