Up for grabs is my brothers 2008 Shelby GT500 mustang. He bought this NEW off the lot back in 2008. Due to unforseen circumstances and him getting hurt he is having to sell this. This car is basically new with only 2401 miles on it. There are TONS of extras that come with this (which will be listed later). First this car has been slightly modified and is VERY VERY FAST. It started it's life as a regular GT500. The week after purchase my brother decided he needed more power. He then took it back to Ford and had the Super Snake supercharger added. This added an extra 105 HP over factory, also during this time the Ford Racing cold air intake was installed for another 30+ HP. Still unsatisfied he purchased a complete 3" exhaust kit from Bassanni. This includes full individual tube headers, X-Pipe, and exhaust. The piping is all 3" in diameter. While this was being done he ordered an upgraded pulley, SCT tuner (also included) with the proper tune and colder plugs. The flash tuner also has the tune so if the purchaser would ever like to change car back to stock, its a simple plug in and press of a few buttons. Cosmetically the add ons are the Ford Racing Roll bar, and one of 300 this year with the red badging. There were 150 White cars and 150 Black cars they put the red badging on. That being said, ALL of the factory parts are included. This includes the factory supercharger, and exhaust system. Also includes a factory Shelby car cover! This car has barely been driven (averages out to about 400 miles per year) and never been dynoed. Conservative estimates from a few Ford tuners locally have put it in the area of 650-700. These numbers are ESTIMATES and should be taken as such. The ONLY issue is that the check engine light is on due to the O2 sensor reading weird numbers because of the exhaust system. Everything works 100% and is probably one of the nicest 08's that you will find. This was also the last year for the better 3:88 gears as they switched to 3:33's in 2009. Due to the many questions about the check engine light, there is NOT a problem with the car. It's because the car has an X-pipe on it instead of the factory rear catalytic converters. As previously posted, the factory exhaust system DOES come with the car and if you need to pass smog tests, it can be put back on fairly easily. The car DOES also come with the SCT tuner to revert the factory ECU to "stock" mode if the buyer so chooses. My brother just informed me that this is the last time it will be on eBay.
