You are bidding on a great machine!! 1972 VW Type II Transporter with Deluxe Trim. 1700cc type 4 motor, 4 speed, 5.14 gears. Starts fine, runs great, charges. Stops, steers, goes down the road straight.This bus is the first year of late style taillights, last year of lowlights in the front. unique rear bumper/mounts as well, 72 only. Some one painted lime green rustoleum many years ago, has faded blue top and rustoleum red bumpers, some trim.Good chrome. Has weber progressive carb. Some new parts, wheels, tires, hubcaps, SS brake hoses, rear window rubber. Recent oil change, valve adjustment. Great driver!! Not a walkthrough, only has interior in front. Back of the bus is just bare, I've been using it to move stuff for about 2 years.30/70 front seat seats.Comes with box of misc hardware from when I stripped ratty interior years ago.Has 110v outlet so you can hookup at RV parks, 15 amp breaker and outlet inside. Has Battery isolator you can properly add another battery for accessories. 55amp alternator. Wipers work, lights work, cigarette lighter works, has rear window defrost. Reflective tint on back glass. Motor leaks 1/2 pint every 2 weeks or so. Bus is from FL, spent many years in WV also. Been in Michigan 4 years or so. Everyone loves it at car shows, a complete joy to own and drive.
