What you are looking at is a vintage classic 1956 Mercury Sabre 16ft Woden Power Boat. It is complete with all original trim, gauges etc. I purchased the boat with intentions of refinishing it myself. Time/Money ratio have not been on my side. I bought it earlier this year. The gentleman that sold it to me had purchased it in 2001 after it had been completely restored and motor completely rebuilt. He had it stored under an awning by the side of his barn. He admitted that he had never even put it in the water. Subsequently the varnish has now bubbled and cracked, the paint on the lower side of the motor has curled and some surface rust is present. It is just suffering from neglect. The motor spins free. Interior is in pretty great shape. Steering mechanisms operate perfectly. I have other photos. I'm only allowed to post 24. It has leaf springs, bearing buddies, and good tread on the tires. The boat could be easily hauled anywhere.
