You are bidding on a 1968 Dodge D100 Sweptline Pickup. I bought this truck with the full intention of turning this into a sweet old restomod truck. Alas, priorities change. This truck is in pretty great shape considering it's age. There is only one area that I would say needs some immediate attention and that is the driver side rocker/step panel, which is pictured. The floors look and seem pretty solid, but where the seam meets that driver side rocker, it appears to have separated. I'm not enough of a body expert to tell what this entails. The bed of the truck is rock solid, no rust or rot other than some brown surface rust areas. The rest of the body is rock solid and it appears someone took a DA to the paint in areas to get it to rust and give it that rat rod look. All of the rust is merely superficial and would clean up with some sandpaper no problem. This truck was setup for a 318 with a manual shift, but as of right now this truck HAS NO MOTOR OR TRANSMISSION. Interior is in fairly good shape, clearly aftermarket seats. Has a step and tow bumper on the truck. As for the title. I ABSOLUTELY CAN acquire a title for this truck. I have the title from the gentleman I bought this from in Illinois, but when I went to the RMV to title it, the lovely commie-wealth tried to tax me on a perceived blue book value of......ready for this? $12,500. Needless to say, I walked out as I was not prepared to pay 6.5% tax on $12,500 on a truck that didn't even have a motor. The bad part was I had already signed and dated the title. So, if you absolutely must have a title in your state to buy this truck, I can reluctantly follow through and get a MA state title and sign it over to you. If all you need is a bill of sale, that's great! If you are interested in the truck and you are a serious bidder just drop me a line letting me know if you need/want a title, like I said I can get it, I just don't want to have to spend the huge amount of cash to do so.
