Triple White with Red Dash) Convertible Hello and Welcome to my auction. Let’s get to know each other a little. I am a seller with 100% feedback of honesty and integrity!!! If you will be bidding on this auction, I will expect you to be the same. This opportunity is to own one of America’s Finest Classic Convertibles. The 1976 Triple White Eldorado!!! With the holidays around the corner, this may be a great opportunity as a gift to a loved one or for you. If you are looking at this auction, than you already know the most of the specifics about the 1976 Cadillac Eldorado. I will not bore you, but I will tell you about this vehicle specifically. Here we go: 1976 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible VIN # 6 L 6 7 S 6 Q 2 1 0 2 0 0 This Eldo was born at the Detroit, MI General Motors Plant I purchased this very desirable triple white on red Eldorado from a very nice and honest man in November 2010. The car was in NY and I had it sent down to Orlando, Florida, where we have a vacation home. This Vehicle has gone through a body on re-vamping. The undercarriage of the car is solid and did not need to be touched. The body is almost rust free and straight. It runs and drives as a 65,000 mile Cadillac should. Important: when I bought the car, it was advertised 65,320 original miles. The previous owner, who I believe, told me it was for real. But I rely don`t know. The odomoter was not working when I got the car, and is not working now. I know I put less than a thousand miles on it, as I only use it during vacation. So let`s say it has probably 66,000 miles. As you will see from the pictures, the gentleman who owned this car before really took pride in it looking and running great. But remember: this is an almost 40years old car. There`s always some things to be done. I am not a mechanic, but I think a lot of things were replaced: Looks like most of the gaskets on original motor are replaced Radiator Exhaust system from crossover back and all header gaskets are new Power steering system Alternator New Battery (this is the only thing I replaced myself) Cap, rotor, and wires (New Wires are Grey in Color) Master Cylinder Wiper MotorHood Hinges New Original A/C Unit All Lines New and System Fitted to R-134A & it works New Fiberglass Front and Rear Bumper and Fender extensions including all Fillers All Headlights, Tail Lights, Cornering Lamps, Indicators on top of the fenders all work and function properly. That’s Awesome!! All Windows and Convertible top function as they should Power Bucket Seats Function properly Cruise Control is fully functional Light Sentinel Wipers with Delay New Leather Interior Seats (Not Vinyl) Auto trunk closer New Top Latch But again, I`m not a mechanic and I only had to change the battery. Here are some Video Links of the Eldorado: Convertible Top and Windows Going up and Down http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YU1EWgWqAdE Eldorado Driving on Parking Lot http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iF8ZmgwkClo A couple of the tolerances are off on the car. One is on the passenger door and one is by the trunk. It looks like during assembly after painting that they just need to be readjusted. The body looks great, but the painting is not perfect. You inspect properly and you will find some details of imperfection. All chrome on this car is close to perfect, solid, and shiny. There is one small area on the front bumper upon inspection that the chrome looks a little imperfect. Tires are in great shape and probably have 7/8 of their life left. There are two different brands of tires on the car. Don’t know why. The interior is rely beatifull and in great shape. The seats are white, perfect, new, and leather. All panels in the car are white and perfect with no cracks. The dash is perfect with only one small crack hidden when the driver’s door is closed. The top has a small tear in the passenger side, but weather can’t enter. Still, getting a new one is something that you should consider. The rear window is Glass. This car does not have the Original Radio and the antenna is not powered. This car is not a show car, but it is one that you can put in your local shows and I think it may take home a trophy. You may ask, “Why are you getting rid of the car?” The previous owner was getting married. I only drive this car during my vacations in Florida which do not take much time anymore. If you were to buy an Eldorado that needed some work and you did all of these things to it, you would spend probably 10, 15, or even 20 thousand dollars to get it to where this car is today. The Reserve price is set very reasonably for this Triple White Convertible Eldorado.
