1959 Mercedes 190SL One Owner California Car No Rust No Accidents No Reserve My sister bought this car new in Los Angeles in the fall of 1958 where it spent all of its life until I acquired it from her 10 years ago. It has never had any rust and has never had any accidents and is a true example of what the Mercedes Benz factory made. When I got the car the shifter bushings were bad so I took it to the local Mercedes Benz dealer and they rebuilt the transmission for $13,000.00. I found out later this symptom could have been repaired with eight $2.00 bushings. I have driven the car very little since. It runs and drives but will need a complete service to be roadworthy. The upholstery and convertible top was replaced 10 years ago and are in good condition. The tires are new. Original Becker radio is included with car. Car was recently appraised by a marque expert for $175,000.00. I have started the auction at a much lower price indicating my desire to sell the car this week. You can probably count on one hand the number of original examples still left in this condition. Amazing specimen.
