Vehicle Detail
1967 Camaro SS/RS 350 Powerglide Granada Gold paint code with black deluxe interior Protecto-plate, original drivetrain, highly optioned AM/FM Delco pushbutton radio, Tilt Wheel, Wood Wheel, Fold down rear seat, Tic Toc Tach, Console with gauges Air Conditioned, smog equipment, vinyl top, tinted windows, Deluxe interior. new stainless exhaust, new gas tank. New exhaust hangers, transmission rebuilt by Paul &Mikes in Joliet. Rear end gone through seals and bearings replaced. Built in LA delivered in Ca. w/smog equipment, delivered in 12-66 at Coyle Chevrolet, San Bernardino. Reciepts, history of previous owners. Repainted 8 years ago in original paint code GG. No rust ever, I believe the car never had aftermarket rims, still has correct coded 14"rally wheels. New BFG Radials. Original chrome valve covers and aircleaner lid that I opted not to have rechromed. New aftermarket front and rear bumpers. I added front and rear spoiler, front spoiler new, back spoiler original. I have original front and back bumper. Replaced front valance panel, I still have original, has some signs of damage from hitting a parking block. Original engine never worked on, 101,000 original miles. Posi rear end I believe the gear is 3:03 because of the air cond. Lower valance RS trim new, interior original accept front seat covers and carpet. Front and rear bumper gaurds. I had the original (yes original) alternator rebuilt. Correct codes to be the same one it was delivered with. This car still has the recall brackets in place. GM had a huge recall do to faulty motor mounts, this is eluded to in protecto-plate. New brake lines and fuel line, brake line are stainless steel I don't remember if fuel lines are. I will include a car cover, assembly manual, original valance panel and bumpers, Camaro manuals, Camaro advertising posters. I personally helped lay out the bumble bee stripe, my biggest pet peeve is crooked bumble bee stripes. Some lacquer checking on black stripe. My goal was to restore this car and avoid having the over restored look. Is this car perfect.......no, what this car needs Car needs to be driven, rear main seal leaks a little do to being stored. The more you drive it the sooner it stops leaking. Hideaway headlights not functioning, very common problem with 67 Camaros, Headlight motors rebuilt, could be relay switches? A few chips in paint on rear spoiler should see it in photo's, Air conditioner needs to be hooked up. All parts present I replaced all the very expensive barrier hoses. Original style tower clamps. Low beam on driver side not working, ground issue or wiring issue. Window tracks need to be adjusted. Weather seals should be glued in, I just snapped them in place. I would replace the valve seats so it can burn regular gas. Electrical issue with gas gauge, so some wiring bugs need to be worked out. I have done my best to accurately describe this vehicle, feel free to ask questions. Car to be sold as is. All in all it's Very beautiful, complete original 67 Camaro, almost a survivor, cruise in comfort, no aftermarket air conditioner neededOn Sep-12-14 at 10:37:50 PDT, seller added the following information: Casting number on block is V1012MV, translated means. 1967 L-48 350 cu. V= engine assembled in Flint Mi., MV=K19 smog equipment option. Will list rest of drivetrain numbers soon On Sep-13-14 at 09:49:14 PDT, seller added the following information: I confirmed my belief that the alternator is original to this car. Alternator # 100750 translates to a 1967, 61 amp alternator which was used on Camaro's with factory a/c. I had it rebuilt with new insulator and brushes.
