Whoever buys this will be getting an AWESOME Vette...I have around 30k in it. My reserve is much lower. I don't know where to begin...I know I'm going to put to much on here but I want you to know what your getting. 1973 Corvette Base Model 350 4 speed car. It has Factory Power Brakes...that's it. I bought this car in a garage in central Ohio about 5 years ago. It had been in a garage since about 1977...that's what I was told. Was told and I believe that the mileage on odometer to be Actual Mileage which is now a little over 43K. I bought it because of that. The frame, body and interior were in very good condition with the exception that it did NOT have the ORIGINAL ENGINE in it.... So, here we go.... Did Frame on rebuild. Drive train first front to back. I will not be able to list everything I did but I'll hit the highlights and you can call me about the rest. SUSPENSION- All new Gas Shocks, New HP Springs, All New Urethane Sway Bar Bushings, All New Stainless Calipers and new Rotors, Front Brake Lines, Heavy Duty Rear Spring assembly. Tires are BF Goodrich with 600 miles on them. The wheels are '78's and I painted them that way. ENGINE- 1971 Low mileage 4 bolt main . Didn't need to bore it out but wanted to build a 355 CI engine. This is the 3970010 block with the 10/20 so called high nickel content block. Please don't bother debating me about it....all I really know is it was an excellent block to use. I use NON- Ethanol fuel and occasionally put a lead substitute in with the fuel. Oil is Purple Triton with Zinc, Parts- NEW- Scat Crank, Virgin PINK RODS (yes Pink rods I wanted a sort of LT1 or Z28 motor), New Comp Cam MOTHER THUMPER ( awesome lope to it) with I believe Flat Tappet Hydraulic Lifters, Hypereutectic Flat Top Pistons, Big Block Oil Pump, 7 quart Milodon Oil Pan, Every bolt ARP's, Double Roller Timing Chain, Balanced Rotating Assembly, High Performance Holley Fuel Pump, High Performance Water Pump and New Gas Tank etc etc... HEADS- I bought a set of uncut/non rebuilt 3991492 ANGLE PLUG Heads. If you know about these you know they are very good HP heads, they have been called Racing or Fuelie heads and other names I suppose. They came out in 1973 and were an OVER the COUNTER head only...This is a Date Code MATCHING Same Day set- Dec 20, 1973. These are the 2.02/1.60 heads. They have the Guide Plates and Screw in Studs. Had them re-done with Heavy Duty HP springs and Erson Roller Rockers/locks on them and they are attached to the block with ARP Bolts as well. TOP- Edlebrock Air Gap Intake, Ported and Polished (rough) to the Block and sitting on top of that is a Holly 750 HP Double Pumper Mechanical Carb with oversized jets, no choke. Ignition is 10mm wire HP High Voltage Dragon Fire Electronic Ignition system. Tall Polished Aluminum GM Valve Covers. Finished of with OBX Stainless Long Tube Headers to 3" Allens Stainless alloy exhaust and mufflers (awesome sound). Ended up with 10.225 to1 Compression approx. 400-450 HP (on paper). Never Dyno'ed. I had a retired Circle Track racer build this engine for me, he did a fantastic job. I have not had one problem with it of any kind. And this car is very fast and strong. TRANS- Matching number to the car Muncie M20 4 speed with Hurst Competition shifter, perfect condition, no leaks and driven by a Centerforce II Heavy duty Clutch system, back to a rebuilt 3.55 rear end. All Universal joints, bushing and bolts NEW with Adjustable rear control arms. INTERIOR- What you see in the pictures is an ALL ORIGINAL INTERIOR except- I redid the seats COMPLETELY with AL Knock materials (very nice stuff...expensive to). The carpet is Standard Loop Base Carpet from Corvette America, under that is Sound Deadening/heat reflecting material through out the cockpit, what a difference that makes. I installed the Alpine Stereo AM/FM CD/MP3 port and built the box with matching carpet behind the seats with new speakers front and rear (could use an amplifier). The GUAGES, DOOR PANELS, DASH, CONSOLE are all original to the car. All NEW SEALS on Doors, Hood and T-tops. PAINT/BODY- All body work done professionally and right. Original paint was completely removed by me. Notice all the gaps, smoothness down the sides...Blocked and sanded, blocked and sanded 4 or 5 times, wet sanded 5 times, 5 coats of paint and 5 or 6 coats of clear. Paint is 2009 Corvette Atomic Orange color, was white originally, wanted something very different. There was some body work to be done on nose mainly, Fiberglas used and Vette Fiber when needed, no bondo anywhere.. and has a Tru Flex Fiberglas Front Bumper, All Chrome redone on Original rear Bumper pieces. Rear window is not original. Well I could go on and on but could never cover it all. I've had the car for over 6 years, paint is little over 2 years old. I have put 600 miles on it since rebuilding the drive train about 4 years ago. It's still a garage queen, never outside over night, never been in rain. NOTE- the CLOCK- INOP, NO EMERGENCY BRAKE- MISSING SHOES AND HARDWARE. I have and will supply all NEW US MADE STAINLESS EMERGENCY BRAKE CABLES AND STAINLESS SHOE HARDWARE. NOT everything that was installed on the car from the FACTORY such as EMISSIONS equip is on the car. It's not an NCRS car, it's just a car I wanted to build and have fun with. Just about everything on it has been replaced. It has the Build sheet, The original Jack and Handle, Original Spare Tire!!! Virtually every bolt on it is New HP stuff. Check out the pictures of center gauges- NEVER runs above 190 degrees no matter how hot out and oil pressure is never below 35 psi. Even the seat belt buzzer works. The Shoulder straps are there and they are NOS. This car rides as good as any new modern car, I get compliments on it everywhere I go. Selling to do some other things, it just sits and looks pretty so some one else can drive it. I'm sure I'm leaving a lot out, if you have questions just let me know. I will accept Cash, Money Wire Transfer or possibly a Cashiers Check under certain conditions. Car doesn't move until I'm 110% sure it's real. Contact me anytime before 9pm Central time if you like. 615-686-0635 Don't bother with scams....and I don't need help selling. I reserve the right to remove the ad/car from Ebay at any time will sell locally. Thanks
