You are looking at a real matching numbers SS396 El Camino, I would call it a nice unmolested car. One older repaint on body,driver quality paint and body. Still has its points distributor,smog pump and single snorkel air cleaner. I will list all the numbers later in the ad. Factory lemans blue with blue bench seat is nice, you can take a third passenger if you would like.The bench seat has been recovered,new carpet and the headliner is in nice shape. Most of the chrome looks original and has its factory YA code SS wheels with the correct deep center caps. Still has the factory two piece rotors in the front.The factory T3 high beams are present. The original lemans blue paint is still present in the door jams. Floors and boxed frame is real nice , see pictures. The factory AM radio plays, horns work ,speedo works and all lights work. Factory muncie shifter with bench seat shifter handle.Motor and trans have 1,000 miles on them since rebuild (have receipts). New clutch was installed at the same time. The drive train is matching numbers, here is the info.. Engine block casting number 3969854 , deck numbers T0701JA , Casting date F-28-9 Muncie M20 trans , P9K10A , 9B412006 (matches vin) 12 BOLT 3.55 Posi rear, numbers on axle tube- KF0702B , casting date F-16-9 Intake manifold 3931067 , date F-8-9 carburetor 7029201 , F9 , ED distributor 1111497 , date 9D21 starter 1108418 621 11 inch bell The build date on the cowl tag is 07E. If you like el caminos and want a real SS396 car this may be for you. It has great colors,4-speed,posi all factory and not messed with like a lot of cars you see that have been drag raced and cut up. This one has been cared for and is not all modified. The bed floor is in very nice shape see pictures, i even took the front bed plate off and took a picture down in there. There is no sign of rot and is all in very good shape. This is a turn key driver that can be driven and enjoyed, body and paint is driver quality.
