Vehicle Detail
Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE Up for bids is one of the nicest most tastefully modified Ford Mustang Fox Bodies you'll every lay your eyes on! PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION! She's a 1992 Ford Mustang LX. Clean & clear title in hand. The only thing this car needs is a driver. This car is super clean inside, out and underneath. Words can't describe how clean as a pin this ride is. Since purchased new it's spent it's entire life in Tennessee. Here’s what’s so nice about this particular Fox- It's not a 10,000 original mile car that has never been driven and has dry rotted away, it's not a hacked up race car, and it not a high mile junk box that has had a dozen people rag it out. This car has been babied but enjoyed at the same time. It's hard to find a Fox Mustang in any kind of shape these days that isn't one extreme or the other. This Fox is different - The original mileage on the body is about 86k. These miles are verified. Odometer has never rolled over. The Carfax history is perfect. When the photos were taken it had 85,991 miles. This may change somewhat for a short drive but will be close to that upon sale. With that being said it's not a 10k mile car that nobody can drive and it hasn't been beat on for 250k miles either. It has been enjoyed and taken care of. The engine and transmission all have less than 2k miles and most all mechanical parts are only a few years old. With that being said it drives like a new car would. It is a factory 5.0 5 speed black interior car, paint code EP for Vermillion red, DJ for black interior and LX3 for the trim option, as stated on the original door jamb sticker. This is not a swapped four cylinder car. And to top it off this car has a healthy 342 stroker under the hood! All VIN tags on the body and bumpers match the dash plate and door jamb sticker. Some may not show up in photos but you can read and match them all up in person. This car has never had any body panels replaced nor ever been in an accident. This fox is one of 1,293 Vermillion red hatches produced in 1992, much less were produced in black interior. The black interior is original and in great shape. The common issues found in fox body interior don't exist in this one. The door pockets aren't stretched out or torn off, the sun visors look like new, the headliner looks like new, all seals look like new and the sunroof does not leak (factory also), the hatch cover is intact and mint, the seat bottoms and bolsters aren't flat, the ashtray door works and the six way power driver seat works flawlessly as well. The only deviation from stock inside this car is a leather shifter boot, leather shift knob and an Innovate LC1 wideband gauge hidden beneath the dash. All factory gauges work as they should. This car looks great on the inside. The exterior of this car is stunning. It has had one professional paintjob in its life. Car has never been in an accident. Ford wasn't known for the best factory paint jobs in the 80's and 90's. The entire car was disassembled and painted to the factory color Vermillion red. The factory trim was also painted to match the color of the car and all badges were shaved and the passenger key hole was shaved. You can brush your teeth in the reflection on the paint. It's a fabulous job. They were very careful to leave all VIN tags in place, which all match. There are no dings, scratches, tape marks peeling or discoloration on the paint. The entire car is glossy and shines very well. The car is free of rust, dents and scratches. The quarter windows look great and like new. The entire car is waxed with 3M perfect it machine glaze followed up by 3M perfect it show car paste wax. This car isn't driven daily and only driven weather permitting to car shows. A very nice car all around. HOW MANY FOX BODIES THESE DAYS HAVE ALL VIN TAGS MATCHING ON THE BODY? Now, on to the modifications. Lots of time and money have been spent on the engine, transmission and suspension. The car runs and drives very strong and pulls hard through every gear, and sounds amazing. Virtually every mechanical part has either been rebuilt or replaced within the past few years. There are less than 2,000 miles on the engine and transmission. Since the break in period on the engine I have changed the oil twice (I change on time regardless of miles) and I currently run Mobil 1 Synthetic. This car has a significant amount of modifications, but is still friendly on the street. I have driven this car both on the interstate, on back roads and in traffic. It runs cool and does not get hot. The clutch works great and shifts crisply. I have used B&M Trick shift in the transmission. This car is meticulously maintained. Steve is well known in that area for tuning mustangs. This car has not been on the dyno. I worked with Steve for over a month to get this car tuned by mail. We thoroughly went through each modification to ensure the air/fuel would be correct. The car runs great. I chose not to dyno the car since it had not been completely broken in at the time (about 600 miles) but I still wanted a safe tune. I'm speculating it's probably in the 420-440 hp range. It’s safe to roll on the dyno currently if the new owner wishes. The car turns heads everywhere it goes and always gets compliments. The only issue I can remotely say about the car is that the airbag module is faulty and will sometimes turn on the light. Keep in mind the car has not been in an accident and the bags are good and have not ever been blown. These cars have been known to give trouble with the modules. I ignore the light. Sometimes the power door lock actuator doesn’t engage. I can always lock/unlock it with the key with no problem. These are very minor issues but I wanted to assure I disclosed everything. This is by far one of the nicest Fox Body mustangs out there. Bid on your chance to own it. I have a 19 month old girl at home and priorities change. So the car must go. I know the new owner will thoroughly enjoy the car, as I have. Any questions, please ask. Serious bidders only. I have sold many vehicles on here including two Mustangs and my buyers have always been happy. Check my feedback. Thanks for your interest. PLEASE READ: I will not reveal the reserve under any circumstances. If you are interested please bid. I will do by best to answer any questions. I encourage you to see the car in person before bidding. On Aug-31-14 at 09:25:29 PDT, seller added the following information: I did forget to denote that I have the original hood with the VIN tag attached. Also, if you wish, the car could be driven to your destination or on a trailer depending on your preference. The car is dependable and I wouldn't be afraid to drive it anywhere. On Sep-01-14 at 09:35:15 PDT, seller added the following information: On Sep-02-14 at 16:50:23 PDT, seller added the following information: As seen in the photos, ac has been removed. It can be re-installed if you wish with no problem. It is a factory ac car. This car was built with a show car in mind. Try and find a nicer fox body like this one with matching numbers! On Sep-05-14 at 13:28:06 PDT, seller added the following information: Apparently due to a lot of people looking at the photos of the car Photobucket has limited my bandwidth. Click on any photobucket symbol if you don't see a photo. Or check out my album with more photos of the car.
